Obama Denounces Chicago Minister's Sermons

According to CNN he said, "I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies," he added. "I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue."

It appears that no one associated in any way with a candidate is allowed to speak their mind. This guy was serving on Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee. (edit: Okay, I've seen the footage. This guy's crazy. Amongst other things, he has a sermon blaming the U.S. for creating AIDS for the purpose of genocide. And that's just the beginning.)

Michigan Probably, Florida Probably Not

Florida Democrats essentially rejected any and all proposals for a re-vote, while Michigan is planning on possibly having a full re-vote in June. Party members, particularly Clinton, are concerned over the implications to the general election if delegates aren't seated from those states. Hillary continues to insists the initial elections were fair, despite the fact that Obama wasn't even on the ballet in Michigan. $5 says Florida gets to seat delegates without a redo.

McCain to Raise Money While Overseas

He's putting on a $1000 per plate fundraiser in London on March 20th. Not a lot of details about who is the intended audience, and why they should care.

Oh, Crap. I Agree with Mario Quomo

"Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo said the presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama could be ``ruinous'' for the Democratic Party if the contest isn't resolved before the August nominating convention."
